BLACKENED NU-METAL / DEATHCORE BAND NU-METAL / DEATHCORE

Formed remotely in 2022, Hollow Construct builds something that doesn't sit still — blackened deathcore and nu-metal dragged through atmospheric weight, precision, and controlled chaos. Punishing where it needs to be, layered where it doesn't. Formed remotely in 2022, Hollow Construct drags blackened deathcore and nu-metal through atmospheric weight and controlled chaos.

Hollow Construct was born in a digital wasteland.

Long before there were releases, playlists, or press features, there were scattered signals—late-night messages, unfinished demos, and a handful of musicians separated by distance yet, connected by the same obsession. What began as a remote collaboration slowly evolved into something far heavier.

Blending blackened deathcore, nu-metal groove, and oppressive atmosphere, Hollow Construct thrives in the space between chaos and control. Their music explores fractured identities, toxic relationships, technological paranoia, betrayal, and the slow erosion of what makes us human. Every song a statement as well as a transmission from somewhere beyond the surface.

We are a signal in the noise. Pave a new way with us.

Most bands begin with a room.

A garage. A basement. A rehearsal space tucked behind an industrial park somewhere.

Hollow Construct began with none of those things.

The band exists because four people, scattered across different corners of the world, kept returning to the same conversation. A riff would appear. A drum pattern would follow. Someone would disappear for a week and come back with an entirely new piece of the puzzle. What should have felt disconnected somehow became remarkably focused.

The distance never seemed to get in the way. If anything, it became part of the character of the music.

You can hear it in the push and pull of their songs. Nothing arriving all at once. Massive walls of sound give way to space and atmosphere. Violence is followed by restraint. A song might spend minutes tightening the knot before finally pulling it apart. There is an unusual patience to the writing, particularly for a band operating within the worlds of blackened deathcore and nu-metal.

Spend enough time with Hollow Construct's catalogue and certain themes begin to emerge.

People searching for meaning in systems that were never built for them. Relationships eroded by manipulation and mistrust. The uneasy feeling of being surrounded by connection while feeling increasingly disconnected. The songs rarely explain themselves outright. They seem more interested in asking questions than providing answers.

Their recent releases — I'm Glad You're Uncomfortable (IGYU), M.Y.G. (The Ballad of Quincy Jones), It's a Sickness, and Habitual Backbreaker — have steadily found their way into playlists, publications, and conversations throughout the heavy music community. Yet the most interesting thing about Hollow Construct is not where the songs have appeared.

It's how carefully they're assembled.

Every member occupies a distinct role. Corey Alexander shapes much of the band's vocal, guitar, and production direction. Sean Atchison expands the sonic landscape through keys, synth work, and co-production. Tyler Franco approaches percussion with the mentality of an architect rather than a timekeeper, building movement where others might settle for momentum. Howard Leon oversees bass, mixing, and mastering, acting as the final set of ears before a release leaves the workshop.

And that is perhaps the best word for it.

A workshop.

Not a product line.

Not a content machine.

Not a collection of people chasing trends.

Just four musicians, separated by geography but united by an unusual level of care for the details most listeners never consciously notice.

The next chapter is already underway.

You can hear it coming if you listen closely enough.
