Hollow Construct was born in a digital wasteland. Blending Deathcore, with some nu-metal grooves, Hollow Construct thrives in the space between chaos and control. Exploring fractured identities, toxic relationships, technological paranoia, betrayal, and the slow erosion of what makes us human. Every song a statement as well as a transmission from somewhere beyond the collapsed state of humanity.

We are not bound by any restraints placed toward us. Hollow Construct has a freedom not often seen in the scene. We fear absolutely nothing - we make our music as an honest expression of who we are. Constantly challenging ourselves creating our own joy. Our sound is transcribed as blackened nu-metal, which is a transition between brutality and hardcore honesty.

Taking after bands like: Veil of Maya, Between the Buried and Me, After the Burial, Counterparts, Meshuggah, Gojira, & The Dillinger Escape Plan. Our recent releases — I'm Glad You're Uncomfortable (IGYU), M.Y.G. (The Ballad of Quincy Jones), It's a Sickness, and Habitual Backbreaker As well as the brand new song released on Bandcamp — Hyper Tension — Have found their way into playlists, publications, and conversations throughout the heavy music community. Yet, with that being said; the most interesting thing about us isn't where the songs have appeared.

It's how carefully they're assembled.
With every person occupying a distinct role.

Corey Alexander shapes much of our vocal, guitar, and production direction. Sean Atchison expands the sonic landscape through keys, and synth work. Tyler Franco approaches percussion with the mentality of an architect rather than a timekeeper. Howard Leon oversees bass, mixing, and mastering, acting as the final set of ears before any release leaves the workshop.

And that is perhaps the best word for it.
A workshop.
Not a product line.
Not a content machine.
Not a collection of people chasing trends.

We are Hollow Construct — a four-piece blackened nu-metal/deathcore band formed remotely at the end of 2021, with members based across Michigan, Vancouver, Alberta, and the Netherlands.
